Lu wins a LA area EMMY in the Light News Category for “Homeless Headshots”

Homeless Headshots is a news story about seeing the homeless through a different lens. Lu introduces us to Trevor Neilson who organized a day to recognize previously homeless men and women. An organization called www.stepuponsecond.org was also highlighted.
Lu also won an Emmy for her involvement as a reporter in the Medical News Story-Multi-Part Report Category. Neurodegenerative Diseases: ALS, Alzheimers (KTLA News at 10p).
